DUBAI: US actress Kate Hudson turned heads in an Elie Saab robe this week on the blue carpet for the premiere of her homicide thriller movie “Glass Onion: A Knives Out Thriller” in Los Angeles.
She wore a sheer robe by the famend Lebanese designer-to-the-stars. The ground-length costume, from the couturier’s Fall/Winter 2022 assortment, was absolutely sequined, backless and featured a turtleneck collar.
The film, written and directed by US filmmaker Rian Johnson, tells the story of tech billionaire Miles Bron who invitations his associates for a getaway on his Greek personal island. The story takes a flip when somebody turns up useless and detective Benoit Blanc, performed by Daniel Craig, is placed on the case.
Hudson stars as Birdie Jay, a former supermodel turned dressmaker.
“Glass Onion: A Knives Out Thriller” is a sequel to the 2019 film “Knives Out.”
The second a part of the film stars a brand new ensemble solid that features Edward Norton, Janelle Monáe, Kathryn Hahn, Leslie Odom Jr., Jessica Henwick, Madelyn Cline, and Dave Bautista.
The movie had its world premiere on the Toronto Movie Pageant in September. It’s scheduled to have a one-week restricted theatrical launch on Nov. 23, earlier than being launched on Netflix on Dec. 23 for viewers within the Center East and past.
The “Bride Wars” star was joined on the blue carpet by her longtime associate, fiancé Danny Fujikawa.
Hudson was not the one star who championed Saab on the blue carpet. Fellow actress Janelle Monáe stepped out in a black-and-red ensemble by the couturier. The feathered robe, which can also be from Saab’s Fall/Winter 2022 assortment, featured minimize outs across the chest space.

On Saturday, Tiffany Trump, the daughter of former US President Donald Trump, wore a custom-made Grecian-style robe – designed by Saab – as she tied the knot with Lebanese-born businessman Michael Boulos at Trump’s Mar-a-Lago Membership in Florida.
Tiffany selected her marriage ceremony costume as a nod to Boulos’s heritage. “It’s a Lebanese American marriage ceremony, so we have been so joyful to have Elie Saab create the magic,” stated mom of the bride Marla Maples, in response to Folks journal.
