(July 1, 2021) The ladies lacrosse staff’s season got here to an finish final Wednesday, in an 11-8 loss to Sandwich within the second spherical of the Div. 3 South state match. The Whalers completed the season with a 9-5 report.
“It was a bummer,” head coach Jami Decrease stated, including that her staff fought their approach again into the sport after falling behind 10-6 on the half.
“I feel we outplayed Sandwich. They scored these 10 targets within the first half and we got here again. I feel we have been just a little nervous to start out, which is comprehensible. However they regarded good and didn’t give up. I used to be happy with them.”
