Mary Elizabeth Brown Bracey, the primary little one of Annie L. Brown Neely, was born in Jackson Tennessee, November 12, 1935. Mary accepted Jesus Christ and was baptized at an early age at Berean Baptist Church, Jackson, TN. She later united with First Avenue Missionary Baptist Church in Nashville the place she worshipped and served for 65 years as church Treasurer (for over twenty-five years), Youth Advisor, Choir #3 and Usher Board #2 Advisor, Choir #1 President, and Prepared Employees Treasurer, she was a founding Advisor of the citywide B.M.& E. Typical Choir in 1972.
Mrs. Bracey was a Metropolitan Nashville college instructor for 33 years instructing Algebra, Geometry, Chemistry, Biology, Math, and Science at Cameron, Central and John Overton Excessive Faculties, Wharton Junior Excessive Faculty and McMurray Center Faculty. She served because the Half timers and Science/Math Membership Advisor at lots of the colleges. Mary held membership within the Metropolitan Nashville Schooling Affiliation, Tennessee Schooling Affiliation, and the Tennessee Affiliation of Center Faculty.
Her house was full of love, laughter, and attractive meals. She was thought of the group counselor and Sunday meals had been obtainable for all stopping by.
