Los Angeles’ iconic Hollywood Bowl is celebrating its a hundredth anniversary this 12 months, and the venue has introduced its centennial season, working via June, July, August, and September of 2022. It options pop, jazz, and classical concert events, in addition to movie screenings with dwell orchestral accompaniment, Fourth of July fireworks, and extra.
Highlights of the 2022 season embrace the Hollywood Bowl Jazz Competition on June 25 and 26, with The Roots, Femi Kuti & The Optimistic Drive, Christian Scott aTunde Adjuah, and extra; the July 4th Fireworks spectacular with Steve Martin, Martin Brief and the Los Angeles philharmonic on July 2-4; a Tribute to Peggy Lee and Frank Sinatra with Billie Eilish, Debbie Harry, and extra on July 27; John Fogerty on July 30; a-ha with the Hollywood Bowl Orchestra on July 31; Trombone Shorty‘s Voodoo Threauxdown on August 10 with Tank and the Bangas, Huge Freedia, The Soul Rebels, and extra; Flying Lotus and Hiatus Kaiyote with the Hollywood Bowl Orchestra on August 21; Duran Duran‘s “FUTURE PAST” three-night weekend run on September 11th of September; and Grace Jones and CHVRCHES on September 25.
