Georgia had 4 gamers on the All-Freshman Group, whereas Alabama and South Carolina had 3. South Carolina’s Juju McDowell garnered recognition as an all-purpose athlete and return specialist. Georgia’s Brock Bowers, an SEC All-Freshman Group honoree at tight finish, was named the SEC’s Freshman of the 12 months on Wednesday.
