Nov. 22—John Carroll had six first-team gamers on the All-Ohio Athletic Convention soccer crew, introduced Nov. 22.
Marietta’s Kyle Gallagher of West Geauga shared the Paul Hoernemann Award for the OAC’s high defensive lineman with teammate Drake Neuberger. Gallagher had 53 tackles this season, 13 for loss, and 6 sacks.

Additionally incomes first-team honors was Mount Union operating again and Perry graduate Josh Petruccelli, who has 989 yards speeding and receiving and 19 complete touchdowns in 11 video games this season. The 11-0 Purple Raiders host Johns Hopkins Nov. 27 within the second spherical of the NCAA Division III playoffs.
Second-team picks for JCU have been offensive lineman Anthony Amata (Lake Catholic) and defensive lineman Daniel Garcar (Mentor). Quarterback Jake Floriea (Mentor) and large receiver Devin Limerick have been honorable point out picks.
