Vans and Civilist Go “Back to the Roots” for New Collection

Vans and legendary Berlin-based skate model Civilist, be part of forces with artist Carsten Fock on a brand new footwear assortment. An ode to town of Berlin, the drop contains three Sk8-Low colourways – together with one Civilist unique – designed with assist from Carsten Fock. Famend for his graphics and work impressed by style, popular culture, politics and society, Fock’s pencil-drawn letters are embroidered and printed on the suede Sk8-Low. The souvenir-esque assortment options “Say Goodbye to the Metropolis” embroidered on the sidewall, whereas “Again to the Roots” is printed on the sockliner and “I as soon as was in Berlin” covers the shoebox. Two contrasting black and white colourways, the latter being the Civilist unique, sit alongside a refined tonal navy colourway.
