Grants will assist tasks that deal with local weather change and advance sustainability initiatives
Boulder County, Colo. – In December 2020 the Boulder County Commissioners introduced the recipients of 2021 Environmental Sustainability Grants within the following Boulder County communities: Boulder, Erie, Jamestown, Lafayette, Longmont, Louisville, Lyons, Nederland, and Superior.
Boulder County’s Environmental Sustainability Matching Grant Program gives a possibility for governmental organizations within the county to handle environmental sustainability priorities inside their communities. Background
The 2021 Sustainability Matching Grant Program is funded by Sustainability Tax income. In November 2016, voters authorized the Sustainability Tax poll initiative to allocate a portion of gross sales and use tax income to fund sustainability infrastructure and packages, together with grant funding to cities and cities for sustainability-focused initiatives that handle the precedence wants of native communities.
The Sustainability Matching Grant Program was established in 2014 as a approach to assist efforts that propel sustainability priorities in Boulder County communities.
