Noah Lyles, the 2019 200-meter world champion, cinched the bronze, his first Olympic medal, Wednesday morning on the Tokyo 2020 Olympic video games.
Lyles, a 24-year-old T.C. Williams Excessive Faculty graduate, ran the quickest time of 2021 throughout the U.S. Olympic Trials in July and gained his bronze medal with the identical time, 19.74 seconds.
Canadian Andre De Grasse took gold within the race, with a time of 19.62 seconds, and American Kenny Bednarek took the silver medal, with a time of 19.68 seconds.
