The factor that at all times bothered me about “Day In The Life” sections is that they at all times appeared so deliberate and scripted. Just like the digicam man is available in and “wakes the skater up,” they go to a pair cool spots, “by accident” stumble upon all their homies, crack a beer and fade to black.
So naturally (stupidly) for this section, we did the whole reverse and got here in with nearly no preparation. We figured we’d spend a few hours and hang around – no matter Daryl was feeling that day, we’d do it with him, whether or not that’s grabbing a espresso, listening to music or holding his groceries.
Right here’s only a small glimpse of time we spent with Daryl annoying pedestrians on the bus station, consuming oysters in Staten Island, and skating the Brooklyn Banks.
