American beer firm Budweiser has launched a brand new marketing campaign in India targeted on the journey of soccer star Lionel Messi. Together with special-edition custom-designed Lionel Messi bottles, Budweiser had painters depict the footballer on partitions in Delhi and Mumbai.
As a part of its newest marketing campaign geared toward inspiring kids, Budweiser had an enormous mural of soccer star Lionel Messi painted on a constructing wall within the iconic Delhi neighbourhood of Hauz Khas Village (HKV). The luxurious space situated in South Delhi is common amongst partygoers.
The murals, celebrating Messi’s sports activities profession, have been painted over present graffiti that was created by Spanish painter Okuda San Miguel and Polish artist Mariusz Waras in 2014. A group of Indian artists have since expressed disappointment as a result of Budweiser’s marketing campaign changed earlier paintings on the wall.
