CFMoto has launched the 2021 CFMoto 300NK naked streetfighter in the Indian market. The BS6 version is available at a price tag of Rs 2.29 lakh. On the other hand, Kawasaki has launched the 2021 Ninja 300 at Rs 3.18 lakh.
2021 CFMoto 300NK BS6
The new model looks largely identical to the BS4 model; however, CFMoto has made small changes to the fuel tank covers and tank extensions. The naked model gets low-slung full-LED headlamp, musular fuel tank, split-seats, an underbelly exhaust system, tyre hugger-mounted rear number plate, and digital instrument console.
The CFMoto 300NK has a fuel tank of 12.5-litres, while the curb weight stands at 151kg. The motorcycle gets disc brakes along with dual-channel ABS system. The suspension system will comprise of upside-down front forks and a preload-adjustable mono-shock at the rear. The motorcycle rides on 17-inch Y-shaped spoke alloy wheels shod with 110/70 section front and 140/60 section rear tyres.
Powering the motorcycle is a BS6-compliant 292.4cc single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine. It gets a large catalytic convertor below the engine underbelly. This engine is capable of producing 33.5bhp of power and 20.5Nm of torque. For transmitting power, the engine is paired to a 6-speed gearbox with slip and assist clutch. The motorcycle has a top speed of 139kmph.
2021 Kawasaki Ninja 300 BS6
The new Ninja 300 BS6 is around 20,000 expensive than the BS4 Ninja 300. The motorcycle looks identical to the previous model. The motorcycle gets a BS6 compliant 296cc, parallel-twin, liquid-cooled engine that produces 38.4bhp of power and 27Nm of torque. This engine is coupled to a 6-speed gearbox along with an assist and slipper clutch.
The motorcycle gets fresh decals, which are inspired by Kawasaki’s bigger sportsbikes like the Ninja ZX-14R, ZX-10R and the ZX-6R. The 2021 Kawasaki Ninja 300 is available in 3 colour options – Lime Green, Candy Lime Green and Ebony. In terms of features, the bike gets a semi-digital instrument console, LED tail-lamps, 17-inch alloys and conventional bulb-type headlamps. The bike rides on 37mm telescopic front forks and monoshock unit at the rear. The motorcycle gets disc brakes along with dual-channel ABS system. The 2021 Kawasaki Ninja 300 BS6 rivals the TVS Apache RR 310 and the KTM RC 390.
