Turtle named Ninja stolen from Lincoln home

LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) – Investigators with the Lincoln Police Division are hoping to discover a turtle named Ninja that was just lately stolen.

On Sunday, LPD mentioned officers have been dispatched to a house close to twenty ninth and P Streets, in East Lincoln, for a report of a housebreaking.

The person reporting the crime defined to police that he was home sitting for a pal and somebody had gone into the house and stolen a terrapin turtle from its habitat, together with its meals.

LPD mentioned the turtle is 4 to 5-inches in diameter and is called Ninja.

Based on police, there have been no indicators of pressured entry and nothing else was taken from the house.

Officers processed the scene for digital and forensic proof.
