Sustainable farming pioneer and visionary leader remembered

TERREBONNE, Ore. —Sustainable farming chief, advocate, and pioneering farmer Andrew Gunther handed away on Feb. 19, 2021 on the age of 57. Gunther was the Government Director of the worldwide nonprofit certifier A Greener World (AGW) for over a decade and a long-standing advocate for sustainability and transparency within the meals system.

Working with over 6,000 farms managing greater than three million acres internationally, Gunther’s experience and relentless onerous work drove unprecedented program progress at A Greener World.
