Strathclyde joins International Sustainable Campus Network

The College of Strathclyde has joined the International Sustainable Campus Network (ISCN) as a part of its drive on local weather change motion.

Based in 2007, the ISCN is a world community of main universities in sustainability and local weather change.

Members of the Community use their shared experiences, capability, ardour, and mental capital to take significant motion to contribute to sustainable improvement.

In granting membership to Strathclyde, the ISCN has recognised the College’s work on sustainable improvement by means of: its analysis and instructing; its partnerships with Glasgow Metropolis Council, trade, third sector and Authorities organisations on sustainable improvement; and, strategic initiatives akin to energetic journey plans and the work of the Sustainable Strathclyde team.

Membership will even assist Strathclyde on its journey to Internet Zero emissions by 2040 or earlier as set out in its Strategic Plan and help actions of Centre for Sustainable Development (CfSD) and different actions on local weather change.
