Staff USA dominated in athletics for day 12 of the Tokyo Olympics, topping first and second place for the ladies’s 400 hurdles with Sydney McLaughlin successful gold and reigning Olympic champion Dalilah Muhammad taking house silver.
Courtney Frerichs gained her first Olympic medal, successful silver from the ladies’s 3000m steeplechase proper behind Uganda’s Peruth Chemutai. Staff USA’s Kenneth Bednarek and Noah Lyles wrapped silver and bronze respectively on the lads’s 200m, with Canada’s Andre de Grasse taking house his first gold medal.
