Ninja Tune’s rap imprint Massive Dada has introduced that it’s relaunching, and can now be run completely “by black, POC and minority ethnic Ninja Tune employees members for black, POC and minority ethnic artists”.
In a press release, the corporate stated: “Massive Dada is relaunched as a label run by black, POC and minority ethnic individuals for black, POC and minority ethnic artists – for lack of a greater time period. A workforce of like-minded people working collectively to type a group that champions, shines a light-weight on, helps and nourishes the music and artists”.
“Working to amplify black and racialised artist voices, Massive Dada seems to be to shift the narrative round this music, bypassing stereotypes to permit and encourage freedom to specific oneself for who they’re and need to be”, it goes on. “Massive Dada has a protracted historical past and heritage which shall be constructed upon while deepening its cultural identification by supporting and providing assets to a brand new technology of artists”.
