Citrus Faculty receives award for sustainability
Glendora, Calif. (Jan. 20, 2021) – In recognition of its sustainability efforts, Citrus Faculty lately obtained a California Group Schools Board of Governors Vitality and Sustainability Award.
Lauded for its retro-commissioning initiatives, which diminished vitality utilization and prices, Citrus Faculty was considered one of 5 award recipients introduced throughout the Jan. 19, 2021, Board of Governors assembly. Among the central plant initiatives included implementing an automatic controls sequence for the vitality storage system that saved vitality, minimized peak demand expenses and saved on upkeep time. Others enhancements included repairing damaged chilled water valves and correctly scheduling the air handlers for effectivity.
Established in 2012, the Board of Governors Vitality and Sustainability Awards are cut up into three classes: Excellence in Vitality and Sustainability – Revolutionary Mission; Excellence in Vitality and Sustainability – College/Scholar Initiatives; and Excellence in Vitality and Sustainability – Sustainability Champion.
