Host and filmer Alex Raspa of Jenkem Magazine has launched an artwork public sale to help Black and brown communities combating for justice and equality. Every skater at Jenkem provided one piece of authentic work to public sale off to the general public, starting from drawings and prints to work and sculptures. one hundred pc of the proceeds can be donated on to Breonna Taylor’s GoFundMe to help her household.
“Skateboarding is one thing that all of us maintain pricey to our hearts,” Raspa wrote on the public sale’s web page. “We all know that this neighborhood is the considered one of acceptance and it was mandatory for us to offer a supply of help. What began as a bathe thought, grew into what you see in entrance of you: a whole neighborhood of skartists excited to assemble and donate artwork for the good injustice that occurred to Breonna Taylor.” Included within the public sale is Raspa’s personal Impetuous Tyson portray, Al Davis’ South Africa print and Lurker Lou’s Wheel Love sculpture.
